When do you drop new collections?+
We do two main drops a year (Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter) plus 1–2 capsule drops in between. Subscribe to drop notifications to get early access — drops sell out in days.
Where do you ship?+
We ship Nepal-wide via Pathao + Aramex, India via DTDC, and the rest of the world via DHL Express. Free Nepal-wide shipping over Rs 5,000.
How long does shipping take?+
Kathmandu Valley: 1–2 business days. Nepal-wide: 3–5. India: 5–8. Worldwide DHL Express: 4–7. Custom-printed orders add 3–5 days production time.
Do you accept returns?+
Yes — unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, within 14 days of delivery. We do not refund custom collab pieces or marked-down sale items. Customer pays return shipping; we cover the swap shipping.
Are pieces unisex?+
Most of our cuts are intentionally unisex with boxy fits. The size guide tells you the garment measurements; pick your fit from there. If in doubt, size down for a standard fit, take your usual for oversized.
Where is everything made?+
Every Mamaghar piece is designed in our Patan studio and hand-printed in Nepal. Cut-and-sew is split between two partner workshops in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur — both are family-run, both pay above the legal minimum, both we've visited. We're not interested in mystery factories.
Do you do custom orders or collabs?+
Yes. Email press@mamagharstreetwear.com with your idea — we do 4–6 brand collabs a year and a small number of private commissions for events.
Why “Mamaghar”?+
Mamaghar (मामाघर) literally translates to “mother's house” — the place you go back to, especially during festivals. For the Nepali diaspora, it's shorthand for the version of home you carry inside you. That's the brand.
How should I care for my pieces?+
Cold wash inside out, hang dry whenever possible. Don't iron directly over screen prints. Embroidery is bombproof — wash normally. Detailed care instructions live on each product page.
My piece arrived damaged — what now?+
Email hello@mamagharstreetwear.com within 7 days with your order number and photos. We'll replace it on us, no return required. Production is hand-finished and we stand behind every stitch.
